One of the most anticipated festival in the Philippines during summer is the Pahiyas Festival which is celebrated every 15th of May in Lucban, Quezon. Looking for a time to spend my "so-called" birthday leave which falls every 14th of May, I decided to visit the town to experience the eve of the feast.
Unplanned yet I enjoyed my solo travel. I usually do not plan when I do day-tour travels. Well, I am used to it. I love the experience of asking locals on road directions and places where I can find the best food in town. Also, by communicating with the locals, you will be able to experience how helpful Filipinos are.
