Sto. Niño de Cebu Parish Church: Biñan, Laguna

Sto. Niño de Cebu Parish was a small church built in 1984 by the Augustinian Friars. The church was built in 1988 under Rev. Fr. Pechayco, OSA. The church was reconstructed in 2002 under Rev. Fr. Edgar Polotan, OSA. That same year, the Altar Retablo was built. The church bell towers, fountain, jubilee door and parking lot was built under Rev. Fr. Dannie Dagsaan, OSA, who until now is the Parish Priest. 

Well, I have been to Splash Island a couple of times but never had a chance to visit this church not until my friend, Mary Engelee, got married. I made sure that I will attend the wedding of my friend not just to witness her getting married but also to finally visit this wonderful church. I will only share some of the pictures I have taken during the wedding ceremony. So here we go...

Off-course, every event will not be complete without taking sooooo many pictures. So many pictures we took but then I need to choose few that I liked most haha. Admittedly, I got to shed some tears of happiness for my friend finally tying the knot to Pao. They look good as couple. After all 9 years in being a relationship will not lasts if they were not meant for each other. "Sarap lang ma-inlove." Two in one mission accomplished!

Splash Island: Biñan, Laguna

Two-days after our out of town trip to Laiya, San Juan, Batangas, our department decided to have a planning workshop for the next calendar year. This time Splash Island. Great place for our department to have the workshop, after all we are only four in the office. We made audit plans and other programs which would help us to achieve the department's objective for next year.

Splash Island Spa and Resort is located at Southwoods Ecocentrum, Biñan, Laguna. It is a great summer getaway and also a great place for team building. After we finished our workshop, it's time to enjoy the resort. Took off our clothes and put on the allowed swimming attire.

We stroll around the resort, and we first hit Big Bam Boo... Ohhh that slide was fun!!! It will make you scream... I remember my boss screaming out loud on the first drop then suddenly became voiceless for the second drop. Mind you, the second drop is I think around 40 degrees slanted. That was fun...I enjoyed a lot.

We had a great time as well in the Balsa River and I remember I was dared to remove my short and just show my underwear... Hahaha with a lot of courage, I did it!!! That was only for 3 minutes I think... Then I need to put it on again my short! So silly things to do.

After those activities, we had lunch. We ordered fresh grilled fish. Yummy!!! I ate a lot to energize myself for the afternoon swimming party. We enjoyed all the rides there. Screaming and laughing and all that!

After those tiring activities and it is getting late in the afternoon. We hit the big pool where there is an artificial waves. We had a lot of fun swimming as the rain falls as well. It is getting dark and it was a lot of fun getting into those waves. I also taught my boss daughter how to swim and she enjoyed those moments.

And we finished the workshop and outing by visiting the souvenir shop. It was a memorable.
