A Taste of Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas

Family birthdays is one of the events we do not take for granted. It is a time we gather together to deepen further out family bond. My aunt's birthday fell on a long weekend so we decided for an out-of-town celebration.

We booked three rooms for a 2D1N stay in Bernabeach Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas. We arrived at the place around 12:00 and prepared for lunch. We explored Nasugbu coves by renting a boat which took us to Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort.

Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort is owned and managed by Sir Philip. He told me that the resort was named after his baby. He is very accommodating and good-looking. The beach camp is huge. Rooms for overnight stays are for rent. Tourists can also pitch or rent a tent. The place is in-progress. Constructions are on its way for a better place to relax.

The long stretch of the beach has a gray sand. Various water activities like banana boat, snorkeling and jet-ski are available. The beach camp is situated near the famous Club Punta Fuego. Munting Buhangin Beach Camp and Costa De Oro Beach Resort was also situated along the same cove. All these resorts can be visited just by strolling on the shore. Applicable fees may apply for the entrance fee and their facilities if you decide to go inside the resorts. An ecological fee of Php 20.00 is collected once you visited the cove.

We spent our afternoon swimming and snorkeling in the area. We enjoyed our bonding time in the camp even if we have a limited time. We went back to Bernabeach Resort around 17:30 for dinner. For inquiries and bookings, you may call Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort thru 0977-337-2785 and look for Sir Philip.

I do not have pictures of Bernabeach Resort because it was crowded but I will give you some of the resort's highlights. The resort has two swimming pools which is good for adults and kids. It has also kubo's for rent around the resort and also along the beachfront which can be rented for day tours. Do not expect a white strip of sand on the beach because it is black. The resort has a Bistro which caters food and drinks. Live band in the Bistro made the night events more interesting. Videoke machines are for rent and strategically situated inside the resort. Also, there are grilling areas where families cook their own food. You can bring your own food if you visited the resort.

La Luz Beach Resort: San Juan, Batangas

Who would have thought that I will be able to spend a 2-day team building on this wonderful beach resort somewhere in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas? It was all about through the net that I was able to gather information about the resort. It was when my cousin's wife got the chance to have a vacation on this resort and confirmed to me that this is such a great place for vacation! Well, I can always recall how she enjoyed her vacation when she told me about her experiences in staying here. Go ahead, scroll down and see the beauty of La Luz Beach Resort.

Looks like you're in a private island, right?! Well it's a big NO! It is in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas! There is so much more to appreciate on this beach resort. It is approximately 3-4 hours travel from Manila. Well it is all worth the ride once you stepped down from your car and feel the breeze of fresh air.

I still believe in paradise, but now at least I know it is not some place that you can look for because it is not where you go..

It's how you feel for a moment in your life where you are a part of something. And if you find that moment, it's last forever.

"The Beach."

You just read it right! Meal time schedule!!! It's buffet buddy! Eat all you want until you drop! They serve really mouth-watering foods! Fresh fruits too! You can really enjoy having meals along the shore, with the fresh breeze of cold air. Priceless! Oh well, wine will definitely on the resto but it's not inclusive of the fee. You got to pay what you want to drink. :)

Well, I am a beach lover! Hitting the beach without me dipping to the water is a major disaster for me. I just love water and swimming is one of my past time aside from running! So there, I enjoyed swimming with my colleagues. Strolled here and there. Swimming and diving here and there. And off course, chit chat with them!

One crazy little group!
Such a great day for us to finish our meeting that early and we're able to spend quality time with the other auditors from other campuses. Time for bonding and time for making friends too! Dinner was so perfect! So romantic with all the candle lit on the table! You just want to lie down in bed after getting your stomach full and take that ZzzZzzzzzz!

With my co-auditors... DLSP.
So there, experience in La Luz Beach Resort is one of a kind. Definitely I will go back here soon with my family or relatives. Want some kind of peaceful vacation then hit this place and definitely no regrets!

Caleruega: Nasugbu, Batangas

"Close to Nature. Closer to God." Such a great line to those people who loves nature which could lead even closer to God. I consider myself one of them, seriously. Well I can say, I was attracted to the place when my office mate visited the place and showed some pictures. I told myself then, one day I will visit the place and will attend the mass and stroll around. I did it!!!

It was sunny Sunday such a great time to go out of town. I woke up early as I am excited to hit the road and visit Caleruega. As planned, me and my colleagues will meet in Tagaytay City.

the majestic stairway

I left home at 07:30 heading to Tagaytay City, bus fare from SM Bacoor going up is 61.00 pesos. I arrived there after almost 2 hours ride. Quite good... as I expected traffic along Aguinaldo Highway. From Tagaytay, we headed to Nasugbu, fare is about 28.00 pesos, carrying with us our packed lunch, which we bought on fast food chain. From the highway, which is the drop off point, we ride on a tricycle which costs us 20.00 pesos each.

We arrived at Caleruega, before 11:00, after paying P30.00 for the entrance fee, we headed to chapel to attend the mass. The mass was solemn and the chapel is fully occupied as there were people standing even outside the place.

The Chapel

After the mass, we took some pictures before we had our lunch. We enjoyed taking pictures and we're not able to noticed that it was already 13:00. That was the only time we had our lunch.

The place is huge and you can stroll even if the heat of the sun is striking. It is luxurious green, as there were trees planted and lot of plants around the area.

There is also hanging bridge in the area where you can go uphill and there's chapel at the topmost part of the hill overlooking Mt. Batulao.

Visiting Caleruega is one of the things I enjoyed doing even just for one day. Will be going there soon. To end up our trip. We went back to Tagaytay for cold coffee to re-energize ourselves!!!
