A Taste of Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas

Family birthdays is one of the events we do not take for granted. It is a time we gather together to deepen further out family bond. My aunt's birthday fell on a long weekend so we decided for an out-of-town celebration.

We booked three rooms for a 2D1N stay in Bernabeach Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas. We arrived at the place around 12:00 and prepared for lunch. We explored Nasugbu coves by renting a boat which took us to Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort.

Tatiana's Beach Camp Resort is owned and managed by Sir Philip. He told me that the resort was named after his baby. He is very accommodating and good-looking. The beach camp is huge. Rooms for overnight stays are for rent. Tourists can also pitch or rent a tent. The place is in-progress. Constructions are on its way for a better place to relax.

The long stretch of the beach has a gray sand. Various water activities like banana boat, snorkeling and jet-ski are available. The beach camp is situated near the famous Club Punta Fuego. Munting Buhangin Beach Camp and Costa De Oro Beach Resort was also situated along the same cove. All these resorts can be visited just by strolling on the shore. Applicable fees may apply for the entrance fee and their facilities if you decide to go inside the resorts. An ecological fee of Php 20.00 is collected once you visited the cove.

We spent our afternoon swimming and snorkeling in the area. We enjoyed our bonding time in the camp even if we have a limited time. We went back to Bernabeach Resort around 17:30 for dinner. I do not have pictures of Bernabeach Resort because it was crowded but I will give you some of the resort's highlights. The resort has two swimming pools which is good for adults and kids. It has also kubo's for rent around the resort and also along the beachfront which can be rented for day tours. Do not expect a white strip of sand on the beach because it is black. The resort has a Bistro which caters food and drinks. Live band in the Bistro made the night events more interesting. Videoke machines are for rent and strategically situated inside the resort. Also, there are grilling areas where families cook their own food. You can bring your own food if you visited the resort. 

Vicky's Farm House Resort: Brgy. Tumaway - Brgy. Quiling, Talisay, Batangas

Sharing with you the resort where we stayed during the 1st Taal Dragon Boat Race in Talisay, Batangas. It was a farm house resort that is overlooking Taal Volcano. We planned to go to Talisay a night before the race so we can have plenty of rest and sleep that is very much needed when competing. We arrived at the resort almost midnight and was amazed because the crew waited us even if we arrived too late than expected time of arrival. Haha well, what do you expect in Manila during Friday payday?! Heavy traffic off-course!

Now sharing with you all the pictures taken inside the farm house resort. We had a lot of fun exploring the place. We had a great time at the pool. Priceless memories and stories to tell. We were able to know each other closer and that made it priceless. Friendship grows!

After the race, we went back to the resort a bit late but still with high energy. We were surprised when the crew of the resort told us that we have a visitor. It was a great honor to meet the owner of the farm house resort, Ex-congresswoman Vicky. Such a great feeling when the owner, herself, find time to visit us in our room. We had a great conversation with her and off-course, we did not pass the chance to take a picture with her.

After the great conversation with the owner, we finally took a bath and prepared ourselves for mini-celebration party! It was such a great night with my colleagues, those laughs and stories are priceless. We ended up hitting the bed past midnight.  What an awesome experience to be nourished.

Laiya White Cove: San Juan, Batangas

Batangas is well known for each white and sandy beaches. This year's company summer outing was on the beach and we were all excited that the location was in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. I have been to this place and I had a nice vacation here. I am excited as it is my first time to go there again, the only difference was that I am with new set of companions.

Laiya White Cove Beach Resort is a 1.5 hectare private compound which is naturally endowed with white sandy beach resort, calm blue waters in the cove and rich marine life in nearby snorkeling sites.

As part of the committee team, who handled the parlor games, I was asked to demonstrate the mechanics of the game. The game was really fun. I was bit nervous when I started but as I am doing it, I had a lot of fun.

After the games, the heat of the sun was strikingly hot but we did not mind it. We did not waste our time as we bonded together. Taking pictures here and there. We also had a lot of fun with different activities like kayaking and snorkeling. And who wouldn't love to eat food it you were on the beach. Food trip too!

As part of the committee, I stayed at the resort for one night as I was assigned two days for the 4-day outing. I got the chance to see the beauty of the resort at night. Take a look!

Little Bridge Resort: Taal Batangas

Summer outing 2009 with the team of "Cool it sa Tag-init" of our institution was great! And as a member of the committee who took in charge of the programs and parlor games, you need to have that high energy booster for you to be able to work and entertain people. I was one of the emcee who took care of the program so it is a challenging role for me.

We stayed at Little Bridge Resort in Taal, Batangas. More or less an hour from our company. As you travel, you can view the scenery of Mt. Taal from Tagaytay City and you will pass by on the great Fantasy World.

The view from the main purpose hall is fantastic, where there you can view Taal Volcano. The sand of the beach is color brown and the water is not clear. But what can you expect it's made of ashes maybe from the eruption of the volcano. Also there are some scattered plastic bags on the beach. You would not like to swim there for sure.

The purpose hall which good enough to handle a hundred people would be enough for parlor games as well. Quite big and it is where the videoke machine were displayed. You can sing out loud and possible your raging voice will be heard all around the resort.

The resort is big. It has also two swimming pool. One is bigger and deeper. Make sure you know how to swim when you go there as I recalled there is no lifeguard.

You can also enjoy sun bathing like what I did... I enjoyed that moment! I am not aware that my friend took a shot when I did that. I like the shot and I asked a copy of it so here I am sharing it.

You can also rent a boat from the shore so you can travel on the lake. It was great to do that so you can see some corals on the area. It was a memorable time to start the summer season of 2009.
