"Close to Nature. Closer to God." Such a great line to those people who loves nature which could lead even closer to God. I consider myself one of them, seriously. Well I can say, I was attracted to the place when my office mate visited the place and showed some pictures. I told myself then, one day I will visit the place and will attend the mass and stroll around. I did it!!!
It was sunny Sunday such a great time to go out of town. I woke up early as I am excited to hit the road and visit Caleruega. As planned, me and my colleagues will meet in Tagaytay City.

I left home at 07:30 heading to Tagaytay City, bus fare from SM Bacoor going up is 61.00 pesos. I arrived there after almost 2 hours ride. Quite good... as I expected traffic along Aguinaldo Highway. From Tagaytay, we headed to Nasugbu, fare is about 28.00 pesos, carrying with us our packed lunch, which we bought on fast food chain. From the highway, which is the drop off point, we ride on a tricycle which costs us 20.00 pesos each.
We arrived at Caleruega, before 11:00, after paying P30.00 for the entrance fee, we headed to chapel to attend the mass. The mass was solemn and the chapel is fully occupied as there were people standing even outside the place.

After the mass, we took some pictures before we had our lunch. We enjoyed taking pictures and we're not able to noticed that it was already 13:00. That was the only time we had our lunch.

The place is huge and you can stroll even if the heat of the sun is striking. It is luxurious green, as there were trees planted and lot of plants around the area.
There is also hanging bridge in the area where you can go uphill and there's chapel at the topmost part of the hill overlooking Mt. Batulao.

Visiting Caleruega is one of the things I enjoyed doing even just for one day. Will be going there soon. To end up our trip. We went back to Tagaytay for cold coffee to re-energize ourselves!!!
