Sabang Beach: Baler, Aurora

Our very own surf board: Apple Green and Pink! LOL

Sabang Beach in Baler, Aurora is very much ideal for surfing and considered as one of the country's best site for surfing competitions. Accommodations and resorts as well as amenities for night life are found here at the beach. Mahdox Surf School is very much well known for the locals and tourists because they provide facilities for all their customers and students who loves to surf.

Taking a plunge while waiting.

Sabang Beach is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the east and that makes waves very suitable for surfing. It draws a huge number of tourists especially for the "ber" months. The beach has a long stretch of sandy shoreline with a soft and shallow ocean bed making it very ideal for those who want to learn surfing for the first time.

Taking my Surfing Lesson :)

Now I am proud that I have learned my lessons well. To prove you this, I can show you my pictures. Haha! These were taken by my teacher after I've got to learn the basics of surfing.

UP!

Bend Knees!

Also, a picture perfect wherein me and my travel buddy was able to surf and survived the waves while waving to the camera. It was such a great experience for the both of us!

After spending time swimming and surfing, we're all hungry that we went directly to the restaurant to have lunch. Great enough to spend some money for a lunch buffet which we all deserve. I also have a chance to meet the owner of Mahdox Surf School.

Museo de Baler: Baler, Aurora

Museo de Baler is located in Quezon Park. It exhibits the photos of the late President Manuel L. Quezon and his family and other leaders of the province. It features the pictures of the past events during the American, Japanese and Spanish period showing the rich culture of the Aurorans during that period. Scenic spots and ethnic tribes are also on display in the museum. There are also things you can read about the province and its people especially the Dumagat and Ilongot.

The Museo de Baler is a dream come true thru the joint efforts of Senator Edgardo J. Angara, Congresswoman Bellaflor J. Angara-Castillo, former Mayor Arthur J. Angara and the Baler Historical Committee. June 30, 2003

We just love Baler!

Let's surf!!!

Ditumabo Mother Falls: San Luis, Aurora

Located in the town of San Luis, Ditumabo Mother Falls is one of the top tourists destination in the Province of Aurora. It is the biggest falls in the province and maybe that's the reason why it gets the title "Mother Falls". It is located within the Ditumabo-Diteki Watershed Reservation area.

The crystal clear river of Ditumabo Mother Falls gushes endlessly, flowing and twisting among countless bib or small rocks and boulders. Traversing to the majestic waterfalls is an enjoyable 45 minutes which is approximately more or less 2 kilometers. Prepare your slippers and legs for a hiking and trekking through the river over rough terrain, few steep mountain trail, river trail man made stairs and bridges and sometimes old cut logs that serves as natural bridges.

Free drinking water!

Wish all the trails are like this!!!

The Baby Falls :)

The majestic waterfalls is approximately 140 ft high. The surrounding mountainous area is covered with tall hardwoods, green shrubs and vines. You feel like it's raining around the area because of the strong drizzles of cool water coming from the top.
