Hyundai Run for a Cause 2012

I had the chance to participate in a free run sponsored by Hyundai. I registered online and there I supported one of their 9 good causes. I heard during the program that there were 26, 000 runners.

My BIB No.

I ran for Filipino Heritage and Pride. Singlet was nice. It's my second 10K run. Wishing to beat my first 10K run.

As a runner, I am always on time and as early as 04:00 I was already at the run site. Had fun with my fellow runners.

As of posting date still haven't got my run result. BIB # not found as I check mine. Thanks Hyundai until next year.

St. Nicolas of Tolentino Church: San Nicolas, Pangasinan

When I go and visit other towns that I have never been, I make sure I visit a church. When I had a chance to have a weekend vacation with my friend in Pangasinan, I asked him to bring me to one of the church in his hometown. I had the opportunity to say some prayer in this wonderful church. Such a great feeling to visit churches everywhere I go. Great time to give thanks for the new place I've been.

Check the inside architecture of the church. It's amazing isn't it?!

After a couple of minutes of staying inside the church praying. I went outside and took some shots as well. Such a great opportunity to see this wonderful church.

San Nicolas, Pangasinan

It has been a long time plan for me and my friend, Roland, to visit his hometown, San Nicolas, Pangasinan but never had a chance to go with him. After Holy Week, I decided to go with him for a weekend getaway, good enough it was also his father's birthday. I was so glad that I was able to visit another place again. Here I share with you with what I've visited along the town.

We decided to take jog early morning to feel some fresh air in the field. Such a great feeling to have the cold breeze while jogging. Green fields was great and the Caraballo Mountain Range adds up the wonderful scenery. Also got the chance to see the under-going project which is a new irrigation linking to San Roque Dam.

Feels great to jog along the wonderful fruit-bearing bananas in the highway. Due to limited time, we were not able to visit some other places but he invited me once again to go with him and we'll visit some waterfalls and other places.

TRIVIA:
San Nicolas, Pangasinan was founded by Nicolas Patricio with his wife, Isidra Sangalang and a handful of followers. It has 33 Barangays.
