After finishing my first 10K run a success, I decided to try for a half-marathon. Training during weekends and even weeknights are more intense as compared to my training on my previous runs. I really needed to train for long distance, 21K is a no joke for a newbie runner who only have three 3Ks and one 10K experience.

The experience of my first 21K was great and so memorable that I was able to finish the run on my target time of one and a half hours. How cool is that?! This only means that I will be running more of 21K the coming days.

I also had the time to meet two of my co-employees who ran 5K, they were supposed to run 21K but they wasn't able to register on time. 21K slots are usually closed earlier that other distances because slots are being sold out.
I had a great time running on my first 21K. That feeling is really not explainable. Wwwhheeewww! The organizer did a great job! Freebies after run was great! There were also lot of booths and sponsors along the area where the runners enjoy all the benefits!
As a runner, it doesn't matter how many times I've walked along the way, what's important is the determination to cross the finish line. All in one run, I enjoyed. Looking forward for the 2nd Leg in June!
