Villa Florencia: Bacoor, Cavite

It is my cousin's birthday party and they decided to rent a private resort that is just near house. They rented Villa Florencia in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite. The resort is just a couple of minutes from our house. It is also accessible if you are coming from Manila or within Cavite.

There were two rooms on the second floor which you can stay and sleep if you feel tired. There are bathrooms in each of the room. You can also view the pool from the terrace of the room. Rooms can cater 6-10 persons. Rooms are also fully air-conditioned.

There is also small kubo near the pool. You can bring foods and cook there too! You can also play karaoke while cooking or even swimming! How cool is that. Feels like you are on your house with a private pool.

The resort has two pools. The jacuzzi portion and the main pool. Main pool is good enough for teenagers height, around 7ft is the deepest part. The pool has no slides, too bad for the kids. Hehe. Better bring some water airbeds so you can enjoy the pool even if it is on the deep part. Pool is quite enough for the whole family to have fun and enjoy the night.

I can recommend this private resort for those families who want to spend quality time with each other. It is accessible for those who live nearby the area and even those who are coming from Manila.

Circle Island Resort: Bacoor, Cavite

It is a simple gathering with my relatives. We decided to have a whole day swimming at Circle Island Resort. It is also a celebration of our cousin Helen who arrived from Hawaii for a month vacation. Been a long time. My relatives were all present.

Got time to mingle with my cousin. Strolling around the resort. It is a clean and great place to relax and unwind. There is cottages, pavilions and garden grounds. Air conditioned rooms are also available for those who want to stay overnight.

Chilling with Ate Helen and Weng :)

There is a pool for the kiddies and for the adults. There is also lifeguard who takes care of the people who are swimming. It was fun. Though the place is crowded during summer, better booked a cottage a day or two before hitting the resort.

"acting like a lifeguard"

The resort it located in Bacoor, Cavite just a few steps from SM Molino, corner Daang Hari Road and Molino Road.

Blue Palm Resort: Calamba City, Laguna

Summer outing of our institution was one of the memorable outing I had last year. Nothing new, I was one of the committee on the company outing. We were scheduled on 4 different days. I was assigned for the 2nd day. Most of the committee choose to be on the first day but I choose to be on the 2nd day as there are more employees going on the second day.

The institution choose a resort in Calamba City, Laguna called Blue Palm Resort. The resort is big and I believe, can accommodate hundreds of persons. There are also lot of rooms. It has also second floor and they have their own kitchen. They also provide sound systems. There is only one pool but it is huge.

I arrived at the resort around 20:00. They were already having dinner so I joined them right after dropping my things. We had night swimming even the water is freezing. It was fun as we did some games while drinking beer.

Dinner Time

Night Swimming!

Had a good sleep in preparation for the activities. We woke up early to prepare for ourselves in our parlor games. Took our breakfast and stroll around the resort. Took pictures on different locations as I may not have enough time if I will take pictures after the program and the place will be crowded.

Good morning, Pansol!

It is hard to be an emcee but it is fun. Sometimes you need to force people in order for them to join parlor game. Hehe. After the program and the parlor games, it is eating time. Even if we, the committee, got separate lunch, I joined the other departments and took some lunch there too. Got fresh fruits and fresh lumpia. Yummy!

With my co-host: Lissa

After lunch that's the time to hit the pool. We enjoyed playing crazy things! Games which we enjoyed inside the pool.

With Audit Department

The day was great and the HRD asked me to join them the following day because the committee will be out numbered. It was also a memorable day. I spend the day swimming again.

The outing was great. Filled with great memories. I took some pictures again on the other places of the resort. Such also a great view overlooking Mt. Makiling.

Anawangin Cove: Zambales

When we decided to hit Zambales, I researched on great places possible for summer getaway. I was amazed with Anawangin Cove. Such a great place to visit. It was really exciting to step on the cove because of the pictures I have seen on the net. Great pictures and great reviews keeps me wanting to go there as soon as possible.

Anawangin Cove has a pristine white sand in a crescent-shaped cove beach. Tall pine trees around the vicinity makes the place unique. It is accessible through boat around 30-45 minutes depending on the weather conditions. Best time to go there is during summer. It is also accessible through trekking maybe around 6 hours. The cove is popular for those who love beach and campers like me.

We rented a boat which is good enough for four persons. We put on our life vest. Better be ready as always that we may never know what will happen during the boat trip. Boat ride is enjoyable, you can see the beauty of mountain ranges along the shore. I advise you better put shades, wear cap or put some sunblock to avoid sunburn, unless you will go there at early sunrise.

After arriving at the cove, I can't believe myself that I am already at the place which I dreamed of. I was really amazed by the beauty of the place. Could not help myself to say... WOW... Such a heaven place on earth. We strolled the place... the beauty of the pine trees, the fresh cool breeze of the air, the mountain range, and the river which I saw on the net, I am walking on it. Catching small fishes.

The sand is really white and fine, you can see lot of campers on behind the pine trees. Everybody is busy doing their own activities. You can see smiles on their faces.

We did not waste time to stroll the beach cove. I removed my shirt and shorts! I did wear trunks!!! Speedo baby speedo! LOL! I am not shy to wear trunks and stroll on the beach, after all I went there to enjoy the place.

We enjoyed sun bathing. We enjoyed swimming as the water is cold and clean. I did not care if I will get sunburn. It is summer so why not enjoy the most.

There is also small store there but it is somewhat costly. That is expected. To quench our thirst we ordered halo-halo. Yummy for the hot weather though it is not special but good enough to add more enjoyment on our trip.

It was a great summer getaway. Will be going back there again soon. You better hit this place and you will never regret!!!
