San Agustin Church: Intramuros, Manila

San Agustin Church in Intramuros
San Agustin Church is the Mother of All Churches which is located in Intramuros, Manila. It is the oldest church in the Philippines. It was first constructed in 1571 but was destroyed in 1574 during the invasion of Limahong in Manila. The present structure was finished in 1607.

It has withstood typhoons, earthquakes and world war. It was the only one among the seven churches standing inside the "walled city" during 1945. The church is notable for its layout. It remains as the best preserved monastery church complex in the country.
