Merlion

Merlion serves as the trademark symbol of Singapore. It is an imaginary creatures which combines the head of the lion and the body of a fish. It also combines the name "mer" meaning sea and lion.

The head of the lion represents the Singapore's original name "Singapura" meaning Lion City.

From the Merlion statue, you can view the Esplande and the Marina Bay.

A far view you can still see the image of the Merlion, the Fullerton Hotel and different building structures and Marina Bay.

Singapore River

Singapore River is one of the tourist attractions in Singapore. It also plays an important rule in the history of Singapore. It flows from the Central Area, which lies in the Central Region before it empties to the ocean.

Great views along the river. I enjoyed a lot of things as I stroll behind the river. I enjoyed every moment of it.

Fullerton Hotel Singapore

One of the most memorable hotel that I visited when I was in Singapore is the Fullerton Hotel. It is a five-star luxury hotel located near the mouth of the Singapore River, in the Downtown Core, Central Singapore.

The building facilities is great! Love the interior designs.

Fullerton Hotel was originally known as The Fullerton Building and also as the General Post Office Building. It was names after Robert Fullerton, the first Governor of the Straits Settlements.

I enjoyed the lobby, they also got Koi fish on the lobby where there's a fountain. The outside view of the hotel was magnificent. Where just few blocks away from the famous Merlion.

Esplanade: theatres on the bay

It is a waterside building on the waterfront land alongside of Marina Bay near the mouth of the Singapore River. It is built for the purpose of being the centre of performing arts in Singapore.

It is a wonderful architecture! Such a large theater that will cater world-class performances. A great place to enjoy plays. Different studios may also be found here on the giant workpiece.

When I was on the topmost part of the building, great eye-popping view! You can see the Singapore River and tall building around the city. A great place to relax. With a cup of coffee will be great!

Got also time to imitate those art galleries on the theater. LOL:)
