Kabayan Beach Resort: Laiya, San Juan, Batangas

Around 04:00 I need to leave my friends in Hacienda R Resort because of another out of town trip. Overnight swimming on a hot spring and this time beach! This time I am with my office mates and other co-employees. I hit Turbina in Laguna, where my colleague's will pick me up. We will be going to Laiya in San Juan, Batangas which is known for nice sandy beaches.

It takes us about 4 hours drive from Turbina. We took the route from Quezon province though there are also some other route going there. Scenery during the trip is fantastic. You can see the beauty of mother nature.

We went to Kabayan Beach Resort. It is a great beach resort! From the entrance you can really say "Ohhh Yeahhh" The resort is huge and can accommodate hundreds of people. There is a wide area for car parking. After arriving there, I strolled around the place and it was awesome. Took some pictures as well.

The beach is great! The sand is fine brown to white. Great views can really make your energy goes up. Can't resists to take a lot of pictures here and there. After setting our food in the cottage named "Kalapati", I easily took off my shirt and began strolling. Beach baby,,,beach!!!

Walking for a few meters away along the shore, there is also a small river which the water goes directly to the beach. You can walk barefooted because the sand is fine unlike some other beaches who are rocky. I did a jump shot... Haha! That was fun!

We then started swimming! We also enjoyed kayaking as the beach does not have a strong waves. It is calm and the water is clear. You can also see some small fishes along the place. I think we rented the kayak Php 200.00 for an hour. It was worth the fun.

After those activities, I find time to rest while my colleagues and their children still having great time swimming. I was able to sit down and enjoy the view... bikinis baby... yeah!!! I also mingled with the lifeguards there. Hahaha such a silly thing for me to do... Is it not?

It's time for lunch!!! We did bring our own food... I enjoyed grilled tilapia... And I did not used spoon and fork. I enjoyed eating using my bare hands during this kind of activities. After lunch, we enjoyed playing volleyball too!!! Playing with Shine and Malene on the sand. The resort also have a spa place... I did not try that so I don't have any idea how much do they charge. Hehe...

We also enjoyed snorkeling. I already forgot how much we paid for the boatmen. We stayed there swimming, watching a school of fish and watching corals. Just bit worried because on our way back to the resort, waves are already getting bigger and water is bumping on our boat. I only prayed during our trip going back to the resort for safety. And thank God, we were safe. That was fun though.

To sum it up, We enjoyed that day. We all loved the place, it is seen on our face. I will go back there again soon. Such a day filled with great memories!!!
