La Traviesa Hotel Resort: General Trias, Cavite

After spending a vacation of no more than a week at my hometown, I went back to Manila to attend a team building scheduled before I went on a vacation. I would say it ruined my timetable because I was suppose to stay longer for vacation in the province. But dedication to work is important and I love my job so no regrets in going back to Manila earlier than planned. 

It was a two-day team building at La Traviesa Hotel Resort in General Trias, Cavite. We went there after lunch and had activities. "Steadfast People Combined Equals Greater Success" was our theme. It was such a busy day for us to discuss on how will our company achieve greater success. Great experience to be with other co-employees to share ideas.

Team building is not all about work, we also had a time to bond. We enjoyed the night swimming at the resort. I will now share how the hotel resort look like at night. 

 

Such a great place for relaxation, right? We enjoyed swimming and sharing jokes. Another night to be remembered. I will as well share the rooms where we slept after the tiring day.

Two-day team building was tiring yet another great experience to be remembered. We love our job so we need to work as one for us to achieve greater success. 

I as well recommend this place for you guys to visit if you want a day for relaxation. Food, service and amenities is great!

Mabnang Pool: Claveria, Cagayan

Ever tried swimming in a pool located at the mountain top over-viewing rice fields and lush green surroundings of Cordillera Mountain Ranges?! Well, my hometown got that! A wonderful place to have relaxation with your friends or families. Hit Mabnang, Claveria, Cagayan and you'll find out. See this for yourself.

Small Pool

Small but great place for relaxation. This was made through the idea of local officials to attract tourists. The area was under-development and can still be improved if right funding will be raised. Local personnel take charge for the pool. Just pay for the entrance of about less than P50.00 and there, you can enjoy the pool and the waterfalls (which I posted on my previous blog) click it here.  

Just a simple afternoon with my colleagues, we enjoyed our time at the pool. Good enough to spend one day from our one week vacation. More fun in my hometown with my relatives.

Give a try to visit this place if you happen to visit my hometown, Claveria, Coastal Paradise of the North. It will be simple but worth it experience for you to try.

Mabnang Falls: Claveria, Cagayan

Who would have thought that a simple barangay, Mabnang, in my hometown is a home of a wonderful falls? I was only high school when I last visited this place. After a couple of years, I was able to visit once again, this time with my brother, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

I've seen a lot of new improvements on the area. The last time I was here, it was all natural, virgin-like place wherein no other people except the locals appreciate its beauty. Maybe as the time goes by, development was underway and you can now see that the basin was already developed. 

What else to do around 14:00 not to dip on the very cold water coming from the mountain?! Water here is freezing but due to the hot weather, we don't mind. We enjoyed swimming on the raging falls. It was fun! Summertime and we need to enjoy it.

The pool area was destroyed by a typhoon. Big rocks and strong current coming from the mountain tops maybe the reason why it was destroyed. Local folks from the barangay still managed to save the area to draw local and foreign tourists.

Now I will tease you how to get to this place. Just a few minutes from the provincial road, this is accessible by walking or any means of transportation. Will share you things that will make you even eager to hit the place for relaxation. Along the way, you can see these:

Can't get enough? Definitely! Barely in less than 30 minutes you will reach your destination. What is interesting is that, part of getting there can be done by transportation and still you need to step-off from the car and walk for about 5 minutes to get to the falls. Not a problem, it's just an easy hike, just look at the trail below:

Easy task right? Burned calories in getting to this place and you'll soon find that the place is great! Such a great hour for me and my colleagues to enjoy our summer vacation. I would rather suggest hit this place once you visit my hometown, Claveria, Cagayan.

Calatagan, Batangas

We had a lot of fun doing our mission -- planting mangrove at the shore in Calatagan, Batangas. It was time to chill and relax after we planted our target number of trees. We then get ourselves on the bus and proceeded to our co-employees house for lunch. It was packed chicken-pork adobo. We had as well great time getting some mangoes on their yard. It's seasonal so nothing to worry how many pieces we got. 

Our co-employee who lived in the city, suggested we will be spending the rest of the afternoon on the beach. It was one hot afternoon but who would resist swimming on the beach during summer season?! Not on my vocabulary as I love beach a lot. We headed to White Castle Resort. Simple beach resort around the area. Good enough for us to take a relax after a half-day mission. Simple place indeed. Good enough for relaxation to have an unforgettable bonding moments with co-employees. As soon I was able to recharged, well, time to take plunge on the shore! Whhheeew!

Such another great day for us to help saving the Mother Earth and a time for bonding moments with  my co-employees as well. From this day on I promised myself to join more environmental activities in saving the environment.
