Maira-ira Beach (Blue Lagoon): Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte

Spending our morning inside Hannah's Beach Resort was great! After lunch, it was good enough to dip ourselves in the beach. Blue Lagoon or in locals they call it Maira-ira Beach has clear blue water and white sand. Water is cold great enough to cool down the summer heat. Blue Lagoon has has sparkling white sand which is even better than it's well-known neighbor Saud Beach.

Couples of simple nipa huts which is situated along the shore can be rented. Owners are very accommodating so you can possibly ask for cheaper price. Prices may vary depending on the size of the hut. You can as well see boats most likely used by the fisherman in the village. Boatmen can be hired for snorkeling and can take you to Dos Hermanos Islands.

The Blue Lagoon Beach has captivating crystal clear waters and white sand which make your stay memorable and enjoyable. We had a lot of fun! Enjoying each and every moment in the beach.

Along the shores, you can also find shells and corals. You will love strolling and picking shells along the shores and keep them as your remembrance. Hemmed by hills around its perimeter, you can enjoy private experience. The serene place, feels like you're in the frontier.

Recreational activities are available within the shore. Volleyball court is available. Also kayaking and snorkeling is inviting, you just have to be ready with the big waves! Speedboat is very much fun though it's a bit expensive. Hehe.

Off course, there is banana boat!!! The most favorite of the colleagues! Had so much fun yelling while on the ride. Had three rounds and to add up excitement, we requested the driver to drop us for the final round...

Had so much fun having vacation with my cousins! Sharing stories and laughter. Playing within the sand and swimming over the cool and big waves. Such a great memories to be remembered. Heading north! Visit Blue Lagoon and you'll feel the difference!
