Back when I was young wherein most of my summer vacation especially during Lenten Season was to attend church programs. Most of the time I spend it with my late grandmother. (Makes me miss her now while writing this)
So true! Holy Week was for me spending time reflecting one's life with God. That's how my late grandma inspires me to do it during this season of the year. As I look back, when I was in my college days, I wasn't able to spend the season the way I spend it before... was so busy hitting the beach, traveling and all some other stuffs not related to church activities.
And here I am again, now working and getting back to what I used to do when I was young and just feels good. Just feels right. I sacrificed things that I often do during this time of the year like going to the beach, parties and all that. I realized, why not spend my Holy Week solemn and do reflections with what is going on to my life. I've got the whole year round to do what I want but not this Lenten Season. So I gave time to God, visited some churches and prayed The Rosary.

Di kami nagbabakasyon pag holy week kadalasan bisita iglesia lang tapos sa bahay lang kami. Kaya lang this year di kami nakapag bisita iglesia. Hope next year magawa namin.
Ohhh so staycation lang kayo?! That's good kasi ako bihira lang din bakasyon pag Holy Week... Solemn lang hehe... For sure magagawa nyo na yan next year.
