The rice terraces in Hungduan, Ifugao have been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural landscape. Inscription in the Heritage List confirms that exceptional universal value of the rice terraces as a cultural landscape which deserves protection for the benefit of all humanity.
